GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS — RIDE BELGIUM

These General Conditions apply to all bookings for the Ride Belgium training program and event week. They cover coaching, accommodation, guidance, communication and all activities described on the website. Travel to and from Belgium is not included.

SECTION ONE SCOPE OF THE PROGRAM

The program combines three months of personalized online coaching with one week of cycling in Belgium. The week includes hotel accommodation, guided rides, technical support, meals adapted to cyclists and community activities. Everything included is described on the website.

SECTION TWO RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ORGANISER

Ride Belgium and its partners handle all incoming payments, communication with participants, logistical coordination, hotel arrangements, technical support and on site guidance. Coaching is provided by Coach Two Peak and performance coach Remko Meeusen. Volunteers and road captains may assist during rides.

SECTION THREE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTICIPANT

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and insurance. Participants must have suitable cycling equipment in good condition. Participants must meet the minimum fitness level which means being able to ride one hundred to one hundred twenty kilometers comfortably before the start of the program. Participants agree to follow all safety instructions during every ride.

SECTION FOUR PAYMENTS

A deposit of one thousand euro is required at registration. The remaining balance must be paid before the December twenty-ninth. A booking is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received.

SECTION FIVE CANCELLATION TERMS

The deposit is refundable for cancellations made on or before the twenty ninth of December. After that date the deposit is not refundable and the online coaching phase will begin as planned. The remaining balance must be paid before the thirty first of January.

Hotel cancellation conditions follow the rules set by the accommodation partner. The hotel may charge up to ten percent of the total amount for cancellations made up to one year before arrival. The hotel may charge up to twenty five percent for cancellations between six and two months before arrival. The hotel may charge one hundred percent for cancellations less than two months before arrival. These hotel conditions apply in addition to the program conditions.

SECTION SIX CHANGES BY THE ORGANISER

For safety or operational reasons the organiser may adjust routes, schedules or activities. This may be necessary due to extreme weather conditions, road closures or safety concerns. Such changes do not entitle participants to refunds.

SECTION SEVEN LIABILITY

Participation is at the participant’s own risk. The organiser is not liable for injuries, accidents, mechanical issues, loss or theft of personal items or damage resulting from the participant not following safety instructions.

SECTION EIGHT INSURANCE

Participants must have valid travel and medical insurance that covers cycling activities. Additional insurance included in the program applies only during the event week.

SECTION NINE MEDIA AND DATA USE

Participants agree that photos and videos taken during the program may be used for communication or promotional purposes unless the participant requests otherwise in writing.
